They Grow Up So Fast 3

“To begin with my name is Edmund Bartolume, next there are a few things that you need to understand. When I say realm it’s not to say that it's a land filled with elves, unicorns, magic or anything such as that, because I know that is most likely what you’re thinking. What I do mean is a parallel world to your own. The science is all a bit tedious and sadly I don’t know how much of it you young ladies would understand. What I guess is important for you to understand here is that your earth is not the only earth. There are so very many. Most don’t even know of the other’s existence. It’s best that way really. Some are really nasty places. Most are very similar to this world. Mine is not. Any way I am getting off track a little.” The strange little man named Edmund paused for a moment to collect his thoughts.

Callie wanted to take the opportunity to ask a question so she raised her hand as if she were in class. Jamie gently placed her hand on Callie’s lowered her hand “You don’t have to raise your hand just say what you want to ok.” Jamie was still very agitated she could feel it coursing through her almost uncontrollably but Callie hadn’t done anything wrong she she was trying to be a good to her as she normally was.
“So Mr. Bartolume, you’re from a different world? A world kind of like ours but not? What’s so different about it” Callie asked? Jamie smacked her own forehead. “Callie I’m trying really hard not to be mean here but none of that matters. All that really matters is that he fixes us or I break him in half. I’m not going to go around like this muscle bound mini freak that I am right now.”

Edmund put his hand out to the girl. “Give me the device. I will set you back to right, but the young girl will have to come with me. That is simply how it must be.” Jamie was on top of the little man before the last words were even out of his mouth good “You’re not taking her anywhere you understand me. Her parents left her with me and I am not going to let you take her up the street let alone into some stupid parallel world or realm or whatever you call it.” As she beat up the man some how he remained calm and managed somehow to wrangle the device away from Jamie.

The fight then turned from a simple beating into a struggle to keep the gun from firing and hitting her. After a moment or two of epic struggle with tables and lamps being knocked all over the room Jamie once again had control of the device. She pointed it straight at the little man. “I could do any kind of thing to you that I wanted. I don’t need you to fix us. I can do it myself.”

“You mustn’t, do that” the man begged. “Just why shouldn’t I” Jamie growled at the man. “Girl you could destroy yourself is why. You have never used the thing before you don’t know how to use it. just let me finish trying to explain some things then maybe you can understand what is at stake.”

Callie looked at Jamie and the look was simple “let him explain.” Jamie just wanted the rage inside of her to be silenced so maybe she should let him finish saying whatever it was he needed to say. “Go on, Mister.”

Edmund raised himself from the ground setting a lamp back on a table before taking a seat in a near by chair and he began to explain again what his purpose was for being there. “As the young one asked a moment ago no my world is very much different from this world. In your history you had a time in Europe called the Feudal age. It was a kind of kings and queens, knights and the like yes.” He waited as both girls nodded in agreement. Well in my world those way never really ended. Oh science exploded but the ways never really went away it’s very hard to explain. Scientifically we jump by leaps and bounds ahead of this world, yet remained very backwards in our social moores. I should also mention that for whatever reason females are the warriors in our world. They are the larger of the two,the stronger. So they tend to do most of the fighting for the male or female rulers.”

Both the girls kind of looked at each other but remained silent so that the man could continue on with what he was saying. “My world has not know true peace in centuries instead it has been convulsed in total unending war. You see my world has three remaining territories each holding close to a third of the world's surface. Each side so equal to the other that neither can really gain an advantage on any battle field. That is until now. My people’s scientist have come up with  a way to create warriors totally unmatched anywhere else in our world. We can create what you would call Amazonian warriors. We have been experimenting on people in this world for centuries and now we finally have everything we need to make this work, we just need warriors. Our own women are much too busy guarding the gains we have made to advance any further so my people have been taking a few young girls from this world and making them into our champions. They are giants among mear mortals. No real harm can come to them. No weapon can harm them. We only need them long enough to crush our sworn enemies. Then we can return them back to this world.

Jamie was quietly losing her mind. “You have just been taking little girls from our world and making hulking giant war machines out of them. You have got to be out of your mind.” Callie nodding her head the entire time. “Why me” seemed to be the only question that she could get out of her mouth.

“Because girl you are marked. You can be changed without any side effects unlike your friend here. Right now you still feel like yourself. While if I’m right she is becoming a stark raving lunatic on the inside. Her mind will be gone completely if she doesn’t allow me to set her back to rights. I never really intended for her to be more involved than for the initial fuel to feed your first growth spurt.”

“I was just fuel to her fire?” Jamie was become more angry with every passing moment. “Yes but once she had started growing and you had gotten a little smaller I would have came back taken her to my world and returned you back to normal before I left. We really don’t want to hurt anyone from this world, we just want to destroy the enemies to our homeland.”

“Fix me right now.” Jamie Screamed at the man. “I want us both fixed, but if you don’t do something right now about me I believe I will kill you.” With a vice like grip on the device she handed it over to the odd little man from another world.

“As I have already said I will fix you but the young one must come with me. It’s very hard to find a girl the right age who doesn’t succumb to the rage that you’re feeling right now.” He took the device from Jamie he pushed a few buttons and moved a few dials. He then pointed the device at Jamie and fired it. Instead of the red hot glow from earlier it was a soft white glow. After a moment he stopped using the device and lowered it away from the girl.

Callie watched as her babysitter fell to the floor. She watched as her muscle filled body shrank back to her child like form. Muscle that had stood up like rocks moments before melted away leaving a skinny little child on the ground. Then bones began to stretch and elongate. Jamie’s body began to take on a more feminine shape just as it had been when the night began. Her breasts re-developed and expanded quickly from her flat chest.

Edmund grabbed Callie’s hand and began to pull her away from Jamie. He clicked a button on his waist and a hole opened up in the wall. “Come Child we really need to get out of here before she get back to her feet and I have to do something more drastic to make sure that she doesn’t interfere.”

Callie pulled away from the man. She was easily bigger and stronger than him “I’m not going with you. You can’t make me.” The man pointed the device back at a still reforming Jamie “Trust me girl I can do things to her that would make her own mother weep.” Callie just stepped directly into the line of fire. “You want to do something to her you will have to go through me first.”

“Girl I will not leave here empty handed  like I told you my master will not be pleased if I do.”

From behind Callie, Jamie spoke through the pain of her still growing body “does it look like she is giving you much of a choice?”
“Very well I will just take you both.” Edmund punched a couple of things on the device pointed it at the girls. As he prepared to fire it Callie reached out and grabbed the man. Her large hand squeezed his arm so tightly that he had to let go of the device. “I wanted to be bigger, older but not like this. I’m not going to be so warrior in your worlds war. So leave get out of here.” She picked up the little man throwing him through the portal. She stepped back as it closed behind him. Sure he could come right back but they still had the device and maybe he had the good sense to stay away from a lost battle.

Jamie was just regaining her footing when Callie handed her the device. “Do you think you can make me like I was?” Jamie took the troublesome device from Callie “so you’re ready to go back to normal and be just regular ol’ Callie Clinton?”

Callie nodded her head which at this point was nearly touching the ceiling of her livingroom. “Yeah being big really isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be and honestly” She cupped her large breasts “I don’t think I am ready for these yet.”

Jamie laughed “yeah kiddo those things are nothing but trouble. I wouldn’t worry too much though the dudes ray gun here probably made them bigger than they would ever get normally.” “Yeah hopefully” Callie replied.

Jamie looked at the settings on the device and after a little bit of figuring she thought she had things figured out. She put everything like she thought it needed to be and at last pointed the device at her young friend “We have got ourselves a heck of a story to tell some day huh.” Callie shook her head “I’m not telling anyone, I mean who would believe us?” Jamie thought about it for a moment. “I don’t know but we kind of have to right I mean if these people are taking girls from our world there have to be missing girls from other places right?”
Callie had to agree with that “yeah we have to try and do something but first just get me back down from here I’m starting to get a little dizzy plus I would really like to put my pj’s on at some point.”

Jamie laughed at her friend “Ok kiddo. Coming Down.” She pulled what passed for a trigger on the device and the light it emitted this time was a soft purple glow. Jamie hoped that was right. Callie hoped so too.

The two girls watched as the mounds of flesh on Callie’s chest deflated like air going out of a ball. Once her chest was completely flat Callie sighed a little “maybe I should have kept some.” Then the real pain started. Bones which had grown very long now had no choice but to go back to what they were before and so they crumbled and split as she shrunk down away from the ceiling. The rags of clothes she still held onto became too large for her and before very long Callie was back to normal. She hurt all over

“Jamie do you hurt?” “Yeah kiddo I hurt pretty back like all my insides have been stretched and compacted all at once.” Jamie now the larger of the two again knelt down and hugged the now little girl that Callie was again. Callie hugged her back. After a moment though Callie broke the hug “I really want to get dressed again.”Jamie looking at the tatters she was wear as well agreed. “Yeah lets do that. First you need a shower and wash your hair.”

Callie looked up at her babysitter you’re joking right?” Jamie just shook her head “nope it’s way past your bedtime and so we need to get you there.” The two shared a strange glance at one another and then both burst out laughing.

Jamie helped the girl get ready for bed and was walking her to her room and it was nearly midnight. “You had a pretty wild night, but hey you did get to stay up and watch the late late show.” Callie grinned “we were the late late show.” They both laughed and Callie pulled the covers down on her bed so she could get under them.

Before she climbed up into the bed though she ran back over to her babysitter and hugged her around the waist with her head slightly below her breasts. Jamie hugged her back. The two had shared something that night that neither of them could explain, neither was sure what they could do to help other that might be in the same boat they had been in but both knew they would have to try and do something.
Just as they were about to break up the hug Jamie felt a strange shift it Callie. Callie felt it more acutely than Jamie did. Her head which had been below her breasts was now touching them. They each pulled back from the hug and Jamie could see that Callie was getting a little taller. Right before her eyes. Callie looked up at Jamie with fear in her eyes. “Whats happening to me Jamie?” Jamie could only shrug her shoulder as she backed away from the girl. “I don’t know kiddo” Jamie stepped out of the room and ran down stairs to get her phone and the device they had used earlier. She had to be able to stop what was happening to Callie.  

When she got back up stairs. Callie was almost as tall as she was. The girls pajama pant legs had rose up her leg and they had grew tight around her calves and thighs. Her sleeves were much too high on her arms and they continued to move up her arm much too quickly, as her midsection was peeking out of her clothes. Soon it would be fully exposed. She wasn’t developing she was just getting really tall really quick. Jamie looked at all the settings on the device and moved things around trying to find a reset or default settings but nothing like that seemed to exist as far as she could tell. Both the girls were beginning to freak out a little.

Seams ripped as Callie’s little clothes stretched beyond their limits. Bones grew longer than they had before and the girl screamed in pain and she continued to get bigger and bigger. The girls head was reaching toward the ceiling and if Jamie didn’t figure something out soon she would be hitting it with her head. She tried desperately to use the device to shrink the girl but nothing happened.

The device would not fire any more. Whatever the problem was it was soon going to be beyond anything anyone could do. She didn’t understand. The Edmunds words came back to her “you don’t know how to use it, you might destroy yourself.” Maybe she had unknowingly done something that now was going to destroy the sweet little girl that she had baby sat for years. Tears rolled down her cheek. “I’m sorry kiddo I don’t know what to do. This damn thing won’t work.” The girl was starting to fill up the room now she was having to squat to fit inside the room.

The girls head reached the ceiling fast and she wouldn’t stop growing. Left with no other choice Jamie had to leave the girl and she sprinted down the stairs and out the front door as the floor/ceiling gave way due to the amount of weight it had on it. The fast growing young girl needed more room and one floor of a house was simply not enough any more. Once out on the yard Jamie looked back at the house and the girl trapped inside of it began to squirm a little and then she burst out of the house. Callie who just moments before had fit in the arms of Jamie was now larger than a house and from everything Jamie could tell she was getting even bigger. Jamie had seen a lot of weird things that night but a 9 year old little girl with a house roof for a hat was just too much. Jamie doubted very much if she was as tall as the girls ankle. Jamie made the first of two phone calls. She called the girls parents believing they needed to hear what had happened that night before the police or news people told them. Then she called the police if Callie didn’t stop growing soon then she would be a danger to people no matter if she meant to be or not.
